Our Team

We are an interdisciplinary research team conducting New York State-funded research in AI, accessibility, assistive technology, neurodiversity, XR, mental health, and digital innovation. Through partnerships with organizations including OPWDD, CDO, OMH, and other community and industry partners across New York, we develop human-centered technologies, accessibility solutions, pilot studies, and assistive technology initiatives designed to improve inclusive participation and quality of life for individuals with disabilities and neurodiverse populations.

Sanjay Goel is the Morris Mossey Endowed Professor and Chair of Information Security and Digital Forensics at the University at Albany. His work focuses on cybersecurity, AI, accessibility innovation, and community-centered technology research. Through interdisciplinary partnerships, he leads research and educational programs to support responsible technology development, advance solutions, and real-world impact across diverse communities.
