ATIC advances accessibility through AI, assistive technology and community-centered research. We collaborate with individuals, organizations, and communities to build a more inclusive future.
Assistive Technology Innovation Center brings together emerging technologies for advancing assistive technologies so that people with disabilities are able to lead more fulfilling and healthier life. It brings together leading technology firms, community organizations, and researchers for assistive technology advancement that is critical for both improving the quality of life and level of employment for people with disabilities. The Center develops new technologies, evaluates existing technology, supports innovation in the field of assistive technologies. Our priority is to improve the quality of lives of people with disabilities, support NY State in its efforts for support of people with disabilities and energize the community to do more research in this field.
